I was having mixed review thoughts about this restaurant. This was my first restaurant experience in Rome. I was staying at the hotel and so I decided to try the restaurant.
I picked a red sauce pasta dish with a side dish of something I don't remember and I couldn't figure out what it was, taste wise. It didn't have much flavor to it and it was cold. The red sauce was the same.
My second course was green beans with eggplant and mashed potatoes. The potatoes where good. They did not have a fresh taste to it. The eggplant was cooked well and cold. The red sauce was too much and tasteless. I thought. The green beans where ok.
The dessert was good it was like an icecream type of pastry. It had chocolate crumbled, I liked it.
The meal came with wine and bread. The bread was different then what I am used to. I say different because I know now this is the city's tradition way of making bread, is not what I an used to.
The service was fast and the staff was friendly. The place was pleasant and clean too.
